Ingredients

Plain Low Fat Yogurt: 1 Cup
Minced Fresh Garlic: 1/4 Teaspoon
Ground Cumin: 1/4 Teaspoon
Ground Black Pepper: 1/4 Teaspoon12
Sea Salt: Dash
GROUND TURKEY: 3 Pounds
Reduced-Fat Feta Cheese: 1-1/2 Cups
Dried Oregano Leaves: 2 Tablespoons
Dried Thyme Leaves: 1-1/2 Teaspoons
Ground Black Pepper: 1-1/2 Teaspoons
Olive Oil: As Needed
Whole Wheat Burger Buns, Split And Toasted: 12
Lettuce Leaves: As Needed
Tomato Slices: As Needed
Cucumber Slices: As Needed

Directions

SPICED YOGURT SAUCE: Combine yogurt with garlic, cumin, pepper and sea salt. Cover and chill for service.

TURKEY BURGERS: Mix ground turkey, Feta, oregano, thyme and pepper in large bowl. Shape into 12 burgers. Cover, chill and hold for service.

PER ORDER: Heat small amount oil in large skillet or on flat griddle on medium heat until hot. Add burgers and cook 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until burgers are cooked through to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.

ASSEMBLY AND SERVICE: Serve burgers on toasted buns with lettuce leaves and sliced tomatoes. Top each burger with 1 tablespoon chilled yogurt mixture.

Garnish with chilled, sliced cucumbers.
