Turkey breast filets make a quick and easy entree. This recipe, with an Italian flair will please both family and friends.
|2 pounds thinly sliced, boneless turkey fillets|
|1/3 cup olive oil or canola oil|
|¾ cup Italian seasoned panko bread crumbs|
|½ cup grated parmesan cheese|
|2 teaspoons grated lemon zest|
|½ teaspoon garlic powder|
|Skewers (soak wooden skewers in water at least 15 minutes before using)|
|Lemon wedges, (optional)|
|Finely chopped fresh herbs (basil, oregano, parsley), (optional)|
